Hello you! How are you enjoying the blog so far?
I want to make sure we deliver relevant and valuable content for you with each passing week so we are working tirelessly to develop articles that a mother (or a parent) at home that is going through a difficult and confusing time like I once was (and still am on some days), can find useful and reassuring. It’s important to not feel alone and to know that a support system it’s available.
I was introduced to Martina through Lucia (if you missed her introduction click here) a truly wonderful person who made herself available to talk to me despite her very busy schedule, she took the time to listen to my story and project and ultimately joining our blog as a contributor, providing useful information regarding obstetrics and how new parents should be supported, how women can be assisted during the whole pregnancy from labour to delivery and post-partum.
With her role she offers support and guidance to families in their own homes, helping them to take care of their own selves and newborns while emphasising the importance and need to listen to their own emotions and feelings. Martina’s main roles as an obstetrician are to be a steady anchor point for mothers, partners and their newborns for all relate subjects regarding feeding, contraception, gynaecological exams, smear tests and all the way to handling teenage issues, sexual education into schools and eventually menopause.
I am so happy to welcome Martina as a contributor for the MON family, you can read her bio here and for any questions related to any of her articles, regarding post-natal depression, obstetrics, labour & delivery, any other perinatal issue or asking for a particular question please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will be there to virtually support you in the best way possible.
All my Love,
